Our next event is the “Lone Star Shootout” in Buffalo, TX on September 9-10th, the deadline for entries is August 30th.
The host hotel is the Hampton Inn, $99 per night, the name of the room block is “Horseshoe Tour” and the cutoff for the room block is September 1st so make sure you get in early. For local players, Buffalo Tournament Director, Donna Thomason, can take your entry for the tournament, just fill out the entry form with your payment, and turn it in to her, or mail it to the tour address on the form

If you are camping, the Buffalo facility has 14 campsites with electric and water hookups available onsite for $20 per night, with additional spaces if you are self contained at no cost. Contact Donna Thomason if you need a site

Our third event on the Horseshoe Tour is the Gaston County Clash in Lowell, North Carolina. This is our fourth consecutive year at this site, the date of the tournament is June 24-45th, deadline for entries is June 14th. This will be a double point site. The Hampton Inn in Gastonia, NC will again be the host hotel for the event, horseshoe rate $119, same as last year.

The 2022 Gaston County Clash will be hosted by GO Gaston and Gaston County Parks & Recreation. Visit gogaston.org to find things to do in your downtime in Gaston County.

The Tommy Wahl Open Horseshoe Tour Event is our second tournament of the 2023 season, and our first there since 2018. The date for this tour event is May 20-21 and the deadline for the entry fee is May 10th.

Don’t miss the potluck dinner at Civitan Park, under the shelter at the horseshoe courts starting at 5:00PM.

The host hotel for the event is the Sleep Inn, $89 for a king room, $114 for a double queen room. Only 20 rooms available, cutoff for the room block is May 12th. Contact number is 931-919-2440 or 931-919-2446. The name of the room block is “National Horseshoe Competition”
